JAKARTA - The Indonesian men's singles player, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, claimed he is now more confident in playing his match at a high level tournament. Although taking bitter defeat from Jan O Jorgensen, he is confident to overcome the next Denmark opponent.

At the BCA Indonesia Open Superseries Premier (BIOSSP) 2016, Anthony lost two set straight from the fifth seed, 22-20, 25-23 at the Senayan Stadium, Jakarta, Wednesday (1/6). That is their second encounter after  Thomas Cup 2016 final in Kunshan, Tiongkok.

"I have studied his play, his strengths at the last Thomas Cup. I actually know enough with his styles. I was however lacking finishing refinements in critical moments, I wasn't patient enough, I was too hurry," Anthony commenting on his performance.

According to the 19 year old, Jorgensen is good at reading the situation and his opponent's mentality. "For instance when I was panicking and nervous," he added.

The full of crowd court chanting his name was a motivation boost according to Anthony. Although he finally lost at the end, he did the best he could.

As an evaluation. Cimahi born player (October 20 1996) admitted he has many things to improve, especially stamina and physical condition.

"Playing tight schedule matches takes a good stamina. Actually, I am more confident than before, but I still had to add training portion because technically, everyone is nearly at the same level. On the other hand, good physical condition and stamina are dominant and affected all aspects," he ended.
