The presence of world's number one women's singles from Taiwan, Tai Tzu Ying at the BCA Indonesia Open (BIO) Superseries Premier 2017 heightens the prestige of the tournament which will be starting tomorrow, Monday (12/6) at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).

Tai has been the centerpiece of the world's badminton fans after scoring fantastic achievements by winning six consecutive titles, starting with winning a title at Hong Kong Open Superseries 2016, Dubai World Superseries Finals 2016, All England 2017, Malaysia Open Superseries Premier 2017, Singapore Open Superseries 2017 and Badminton Asia Championships 2017.

Then, will this 2016 BIO bring her up to the highest podium which also secures her seven title streak since November 2016?

"I just prepare myself the best I can, I do not want to think much," said Tai Tzu Ying.

"I do not want to put a heavy pressure on myself. I just try my best in every tournament, I'm pretty surprised to win six consecutive titles,“ she said.

The world's number one player does not dismiss that she sometimes performed poorly in a match despite the fact of she was able to stun world's best players such as Carolina Marin (Spain), Sindhu P.V (India), Ratchanok Intanon (Thailand), Sung Ji Hyun (Korea) and many more.

"There were times when I played below par, at that time I just tried to improve my speed. I was also thinking hard to find ways how to win the game," she ended.
