Qualified for Main Round, Nisak/Merisa to Overstep the initial Target

Jakarta, - Indonesian women's doubles pair playing in the qualifying round of BCA Indonesia Open Super Series Premier 2015 last night, Tuesday (2/6), Nisak Puji Lestari/Merisa Cindy Sahputri, successfully secured a ticket to the main draw after defeating Hong Kong Chan Kaka Tsz Ka/Yuen Sin Ying with three set victory 21-19, 19-21 dan 21-11.

"We were careless in the second set, but in the third set we fortunately managed to turn the table as we did in the first set," Nisak said.

In their first round match tomorrow, Wednesday (3/7), they will take in Korean doubles, Yoo Jung Chae/Kim So Yong.

"In tomorrow's match, we must be more prepared and willing to take risks to face our opponents," Merisa added.

previously, the pair who has been paired for the last couple of months is targeting the main draw. Even though accomplishing the first target, they admitted they didn't want to exceed their previous target at this Rp 10 billion tournament.

"Our initial target is qualified to the main round, even though we have fulfilled it, we want to surpass it," Nisak stated.
