Reaching quarter final means a mission completed for Jojo. The target is the same one ah he had and achieved last year at the BIOSSP 2015 where he was finally stunned by Jan O Jorgensen in the semifinal.
"The tense was there surely. But what matters the most is to play all out. I also want the supporters to cheer me for tomorrow’s match,” Jojo said.
The player who was born in Jakarta, September 15 1997, admitted that his victory over Lin Dan was also because of the supporters watching at the Senayan Stadium. The support motivated him more and gave him spirit to defeat Super Dan.
As known, besides Jojo, the Red and White team still has two men’s singles players to prove their worth at Senayan. They are Sony Dwi Kuncoro and Ihsan Maulana Mustofa who are about to play their match for a ticket to quarter final.
