“This tournament is a rough picture of the Olympic, my opponents here may also be my opponents in Rio. Many things to prepare, I have to train hard," Linda admitted.
Linda said she still had weaknesses in strength and speed, especially in her feet as they often burdened her in matches.
“I have to improve my strength and my feet hardiness. Speed is also my minus, it is not stable enough," she said.
In the first round of the BCA Indonesia Open Superseries Premier 2016, Monday, (30/5), Linda was forced to surrender by Denmark's Line Kjaersfeldt. Linda made way to Line after a tough three game match, 12-21, 21-18, and 19-21. Linda has not achieved what he did last year in the same tournament where she made it to the quarter final.
“In the third game, my opponent played more rapidly and had a mean defense. I actually tried hard to catch up, but my knees cramped. She kept on pressing, forcing me to offend, but she was ready to make counter
attacks. My returning rallies were dull and they didn't pose threats to her," she said.
