JAKARTA – The world’s number one men’s doubles from Korea, Lee Yong Dae/Yoo Yeon Seong, secured a ticket to quarter final of the BCA Indonesia Open Superseries Premier 2016 after stunning Indonesian pair, Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, Thursday afternoon in a two game match, 21-15 and 21-19.

The two doubles displayed their high skill performance in the match and made the crowd at the stadium thrilled. They fought fiercely for each point.

Yoo admitted that the match he played against the Indonesian was tougher than the one in the first round he had with another Indonesian pair, Angga Pratama/Ricky Karanda Suwardi.

"The Indonesian pair I faced yesterday is better in terms of ball control. But the one we just faced today is superior in speed and rotation. I had a harder match today. We will play the best tomorrow taking on our own countrymen,” Yoo added.

In the tomorrow’s quarter final, Friday (3/5), they will take on their compatriots Ko Sung Hyun/Shin Baek Cheol.

On the other hand, Lee Yong Dae commented on what if  the noisy supporters at the stadium support him. He said he sometimes feels nervous whenever his fans give his support at the Senayan stadium.

"Although the support is incredible here, it makes me nervous sometimes. Hopefully we can give the best of us,” Lee said.
