JAKARTA - The one and only Indonesian hope in the semifinal of BCA Indonesia Open Superseries Premier (BIOSSP) 2016, Ihsan Maulana Mostofa, finally ended after defeated by Lee Chong Wei. Ihsan lost in two sets straight, 21-9, 21-18 from the Malaysian.

Lee Chong Wei's ability on the court was clearly seen more superior at Senayan, Jakarta, on Saturday, (4/6). The world's #2 player from Malaysia dictated Ihsan since the beginning of the match.

“I am still grateful with this result, I can reach semifinal," Ihsan said after the match.

“In the first game, I wasn't fired up immediately, I was hesitant with my returns. I am satisfied enough with my performance in the second set, I played more aggressively and gave everything I got," Ihsan said.

Ihsan admitted he got precious lessons, he has taken lessons to learn from his encounter with a player like Lee Chong Wei. "I studied his techniques and his calmness on the court," Ihsan added.

Ihsan's defeat in the semifinal means bad for Indonesia at the BIOSSP 2016. In the ultimate match held Sunday (5/6), none of the Indonesian players will perform. This outcome is far from good especially they had set 3 title target.
