For fasting visitors who want to watch the BCA Indonesia Open (BIO) Superseries Premier 2017 matches can break the fast right away in the venue.

Starting tomorrow, Tuesday (13/6), the organizing committee will begin preparing free takjil (food for breaking the fast) for the visitors as stated by the Chief Committee of Indonesia Open, Achmad Budiharto.

"For the takjil, we can only serve it starting tomorrow since the vendor hasn't been ready. God's WIll, we will serve it to the visitors the best we can," said Budiharto, Monday (12/6).

"It covers only 50% of the total visitors and serves mainly for those who are fasting. So the concept is we will distribute to each visitor who is break fasting instead of distributing takjil inside the arena," he said.

Budiharto also added that the fact that the tournament is coinciding with the month of Ramadan has been tried to be moved to another time, but it can't be done after being discussed with BWF.

"We have tried to move the schedule to another time and have communicated this with BWF, but since it is related to other events, it must be conducted in Ramadan," he said.

"But this will probably be the first and the last Indonesia Open that is held simultaneously with the month of Ramadan because we have made anticipation regarding the tournament schedule in the future," he concluded.
