The semifinal target set by the coach is not accomplished. The result is far from their prediction. Unfortunately, they lost in two sets straight with 17-21, 16-21.
"We performed as we usually do, however, we hardly control the
situation. We couldn't improve our performace though having changed
our pattern," Rian admitted after the match, Wednesday (12/6).
Frankly, we didn't have high expections that burdened us, (we failed)
although the fans enthusiastically supported them. "We did the best we
could,"Kami sudah berusaha memberikan hasil terbaik," Rian added.
For Lee Shen Mu/Tsai Chia Sin, the result gives advantages. Both of
them admitted that they played calmly realising their opponent was
troubled by somewhat higher expectations. .
"We didn't expect we would win. They are still young. They actually
played the match well. Perhaps they are lacking experience," Lee Shen
Thursday (13/6), Lee Shen Mu/Tsai Chia Sin will face South Korea's
second seeds Ko Sung Hyun/Lee Yong Dae. Both pairs will fight for a
ticket to quarter final.
Sung Hyun/Yong Dae is qualified to the second round of DIOSSP 2013
after defeating Japan's mixed double H. Hashimoto/Hirata Noriyasu with
21-18, 19-21 and 21-9.
