Sung claimed that the defeat from the Japanese was due to stamina.
"It is very unfortunate my stamina is draining in the final match. My stamina has gone really low. And Sayakan is much stronger and she was better prepared to play the match," said Sung.
On the other hand, Sung also commented on Sayaka's appearance.
"Sayaka is very strong. I tried to force myself in the second game in order to catch up and to win the second game," she said.
With this result, Korea fails to win a title at BCA Indonesia Open Superseries Premier 2017 after another representative in women's doubles sector, Chang Ye Na/Lee So Hee also lost in the final round.
