Febby's Out From the Tournament Due to Injury

The Queen of Djarum Sirkuit Nasional (Sirnas) Febby Angguni is out from BCA Indonesia Open Super Series Premier 2014 qualifying round. Febby decided to withdraw from Hanna Ramadhini in the first game at 13 - 10 for Hanna.

Taking place at Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday (17/6), Febby revealed that she couldn't stand the pain to keep on playing against Pelatnas PBSI Cipayung's Hanna. Moreover, Febby's performance and achievement has been decreasing during 2014 season.

This becomes her worst losing streak. At the first Djarum Sirnas in Makassar, Feby lost I the secon round and continued on the third series in Jakarta where she lost from Ganis Nur Rahmadani in the third round, and in the fourth round in Bandung.

"My hand hurts so it is impossible to keep on going. I'm feeling down, no badminton for me now," Febby, a PB Djarum's player, said. Febby's defeat in the qualifying round was followed by her teammate, Ana Rovita. She lost from Malaysia's Li Lian Yang, 16-21, 15-21.

Meanwhile, in women's doubles, Jessica Mulyati, Ghanis Nur Rahmadani, Millicent Wiranto, Rena Suwarno, Yeni Asmarani  have also been eliminated from BCA Indonesia Open Super Series Premier 2014. While other six remaining Indonesia's envoys will fight for tickets before the move on to the first round on Wednesday, (18/6).
