Jakarta | The young Indonesian Mixed Doubles pairs, Rinov/Rivaldy/Phita Haningtyas Mentari, and Hafiz Faizal/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja have just greeted their supporters at Djarum Foundation booth. Although they have just finished their match, both pairs seemed cheerful when they were telling stories and answering supporters’ questions.

In the latest Meet and Greet session, some of the supporters were given the chance to ask questions to the four young players. The first question asked was about the Netizen’s comments on their performance be it on Twitter or Instagram.

It cannot be denied that there are both positive and negative comments from the Netizens. Gloria Emanuelle responded to the question. According to her, the Netizens’ positive comments can help to mitivate players to perform better. “For the sake of Indonesia’s achievement, the Netizens have to be wise. We, as an athlete certainly want to play all-out in every match,” said Glotia Emanuelle Widjaja.

Similar comment was stated by Hafiz Faizal. According to him, the Netizens heavily influences his performance, especially during Blibli Indonesia Open 2019 BWF Tour Super 1000. “It’s true that we are affected by the Netizens in social media. We, as an athlete definitely want to play well, but sometimes we cannot show our best performance. This is reasonable as there is a winner and a loser in every match,” said Hafiz.

On the other hand, Rinov/Phita who has just been beaten by the compatriot hoped that Blibli Indonesia Open 2019 BWF Tour Super 1000 will be a huge success. “Playing against our own friend is not a good situation, but this is all up to the drawing result. Hopefully, Indonesia can get the best reulst out of this tournament,” said Rinov Rivaldy.
